Targeting RGAA AA / WCAG 2.2 AA on both app AND site. When a criterion is missing, we document it in the public statement.
A publisher of one. And that's for the best.
Klaroa is the independent studio of a France-based designer-developer. Six mobile apps, one web tool for healthcare pros, one editorial stance.
The studio has been publishing apps since 2019. First, internal tools for professionals (CCAM Recherche). Then a first game (Masternum), then a sister product (Vache & Taureau), then a range of educational apps, and finally Radio Live Transcript — an accessibility app.
With every release, the stance has stayed the same: no analytics, no third-party trackers, no intrusive pop-ups. One web page per app, a public accessibility statement, a public changelog.
Three principles, stated plainly.
The same ones that structure the apps. We repeat them because we hold to them.
Everything that can run locally, runs locally. No audio, no photos, no metadata sent to our servers.
Public changelog, public a11y statement, cited sources for all figures. No anonymous testimonials.
One studio, one name.
Mobile developer since 2014, TypeScript since 2016. Independent since 2019. Prefers writing support pages over building dark patterns.
What we commit to upholding.
- No third-party analytics on the site or in the apps.
- No fonts loaded from a third-party CDN.
- App-specific privacy policy, updated with every release.
- Public accessibility statement, updated annually.
- No CAPTCHA that excludes screen-reader users.
