01 — In one sentence
Radio Live Transcript collects no data. Speech recognition runs on your iPhone; no sound, no text, no metadata is ever sent to the publisher; to play a station, your iPhone connects directly to the broadcaster's server, as a browser would. No account, no tracking, no ads.
02 — Privacy policy
Radio Live Transcript collects no personal data. No information about you is sent to the publisher or to any server it owns, and nothing is shared with a third party.
Audio processing — Radio streams are decoded locally and transcribed by Apple's Speech and SoundAnalysis frameworks directly on your device. No audio excerpt is recorded, archived or transmitted. The transcript is ephemeral: it disappears as soon as you leave the player or change station.
Connecting to broadcasters — To play a station, your iPhone connects directly to the broadcaster's server, as a browser would: that server sees your IP address and device type. Radio Live Transcript has no knowledge of it and adds no identifier. The same applies to the server of a custom stream you add, including when the address is checked.
Data stored locally — Your favourites and your custom station URLs are stored in a SwiftData database local to your device. The app also keeps a local listening history (how many times you open each station), used only to order the list; you can clear it at any time from Settings > Reading. This data never leaves your iPhone.
No tracking — Radio Live Transcript contains no analytics, advertising, behavioural-tracking or fingerprinting SDK. No cookies. No telemetry.
Apple speech recognition — The SFSpeechRecognizer framework is configured with requiresOnDeviceRecognition = true. No audio or transcribed content is sent to Apple's servers.
03 — App Store label
App Privacy declaration on the App Store: “Data Not Collected”. No data category is collected, linked to your identity, or used to track you.
04 — Contact
